These guidelines outline the procedures and requirements for submitting and processing law enforcement requests for information. THE ARK APP prioritizes user privacy and data protection while complying with lawful requests from authorities. These guidelines are intended to ensure a clear and efficient process for handling law enforcement requests while safeguarding the privacy and rights of our users.
Legal Requirements for Requests
THE ARK APP requires that law enforcement agencies comply with the following when submitting requests to us
- Requests must be in writing on official letterhead, signed by an authorized official of the requesting law enforcement agency, and include the name, title, and contact information of the requesting officer.
- The request must clearly state the legal basis for the request, including the relevant laws or regulations, and specify the information or documents requested with sufficient detail to enable THE ARK APP to locate the information.
