The Ark App is committed to cooperating with law enforcement agencies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. These guidelines outline the procedures and requirements for submitting and processing law enforcement requests for information. The Ark App prioritizes user privacy and data protection while complying with lawful requests from authorities. These guidelines are intended to ensure a clear and efficient process for handling law enforcement requests while safeguarding the privacy and rights of our users.
Legal Requirements for Requests
The Ark App requires that law enforcement agencies comply with the following when submitting requests to us
- Requests must be in writing on official letterhead, signed by an authorized official of the requesting law enforcement agency, and include the name, title, and contact information of the requesting officer.
- The request must clearly state the legal basis for the request, including the relevant laws or regulations, and specify the information or documents requested with sufficient detail to enable The Ark App to locate the information.
Types of Information Available
The Ark App can provide various types of information in response to law enforcement requests, including:
- User account information: Username, email address, phone number, date of birth, registration details, etc.
- Transaction data: Details of transactions, including date, time, amount, sender, and recipient information.
- Communication logs: Records of user interactions and communications within the app.
- Usage data: Login/logout times, device information, and usage patterns.
Submission of Requests
Law enforcement agencies should submit their requests to The Ark App’s dedicated email address for legal inquiries: [provide the contact].
Verification of Requests
Upon receiving a request, The Ark App will:
- Verify the authenticity of the request by contacting the requesting agency and confirm the legal basis and scope of the request.
- Ensure that the request complies with local and international laws and The Ark App's policies.

Processing Requests
Once a request is verified, The Ark App will:
- Review the request to determine the type and scope of information available.
- Collect and compile the requested information.
- Ensure that the information is disclosed only to the authorized law enforcement agency and that user privacy is protected to the maximum extent possible.
Emergency Requests
In cases where there is an imminent risk of serious harm or death, law enforcement agencies may submit emergency requests. These requests must:
- Clearly state that the request is for an emergency and describe the nature of the emergency.
- Provide sufficient detail to enable The Ark App to verify the emergency.

Cost Reimbursement
The Ark App may seek reimbursement for the costs associated with processing law enforcement requests. This may include costs for personnel, equipment, and other resources required to gather and provide the requested information.
User Notification

The Ark App reserves the right to notify users about law enforcement requests for their information unless:
- The request expressly prohibits user notification.
- The notification would jeopardize an ongoing investigation.
- Notification is otherwise prohibited by law.
Data Retention and Preservation
The Ark App preserves data for up to 90 days pending receipt of a formal request. Law enforcement agencies may request the preservation of specific user data on The Ark App platform. Such requests must:
- Clearly identify the data to be preserved.
- Specify the period for which the data should be preserved.
Compliance with International Requests
The Ark App may receive requests from foreign law enforcement agencies. Such requests must comply with the following:
- Requests must be made through appropriate legal channels, such as mutual legal assistance treaties (MLATs) or letters rogatory.
- The Ark App will only comply with international requests that meet the legal standards of the jurisdiction in which the data is stored.
Confidentiality and Security
The Ark App will handle all law enforcement requests with the utmost confidentiality and will implement appropriate security measures to protect the information provided.
Review and Updates
The Ark App reserves the right to review and update these guidelines as necessary to comply with changes in laws, regulations, and company policies. Law enforcement agencies will be notified of significant changes to these guidelines through our platform.
